About The Position

The Senior Application Developer oversees the structure, storage, retrieval, and distribution of digital assets within the organization. They manage the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system, ensure efficient workflows, and provide training to users, all while maintaining the overall health of digital content such as images, videos, templates, and documents. The role also involves leading the overall strategy for the DAM system, including implementation, contract/vendor management, and process documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains the DAM system, including software updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Implements and optimizes workflows for asset management, including tagging, metadata, and version control.
• Provides training and support to users on how to utilize the DAM system effectively.
• Develops, implements, and documents the overall strategy for managing digital assets, including content organization and access policies.
• Governs and advises on best practices for the organization, storage, retrieval, and distribution of digital assets across the organization.
• Ensures the accurate and consistent use of metadata to facilitate efficient searching and retrieval of assets.
• Manages user access permissions to ensure the security and integrity of digital assets.
• Works with various departments, including brand, marketing, design, and content teams, to understand their needs and ensure seamless integration of the DAM system.
