At Hiya, the Hiya AI Phone team is on a mission to build the most intelligent, trustworthy, and delightful call experience. We're reimagining what a phone app can do—from identifying who’s calling and if their voice is real to helping users decide which calls to answer—all powered by real-time AI and deep telephony integrations. As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll be a hands-on contributor driving the design, development, and deployment of our Android application and accompanying SDKs. The Hiya AI Phone is distributed directly to consumers via the Play Store. You’ll join a collaborative and experienced team of mobile developers working at the intersection of real-time voice, machine learning, and mobile UX—building at a scale few consumer apps ever reach. If you’re passionate about crafting elegant, high-performance Android experiences and want to ship impactful software that changes how people connect, we want to meet you. The Hiya AI Phone team at Hiya plays a critical role in the distribution of Hiya software both directly to consumers via our apps and for SDKs which are integrated into OEM native dialer apps. The team is responsible for our consumer-facing software which provides a call experience which rivals that of Pixel, Samsung, and iOS dialers. This role ensures that Hiya's core technology is made available to our ever growing user base quickly and effectively to build and deliver trust in phone calls. Join the team and work alongside experienced mobile developers as we continue to build and ship software at a scale made possible by our partners. We're excited about working with you because you are the type of person who's unsatisfied with superficial explanations and dives deep to understand the root cause of issues. You dig into projects at a high level of detail and thread the needle of customer needs and technical excellence.
