The Senior Android Developer at Concentrix will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality Android applications that enhance customer experience. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with business objectives and user needs, particularly in the telecom sector. The developer will also engage in Agile practices and ensure compliance with industry-specific security standards.

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality Android applications that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Develop new features and optimize existing functionalities for improved performance and user experience.
  • Implement necessary APIs, SDKs, and other third-party tools, especially those required for telecom-related services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, back-end developers, and QA engineers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to project planning and execution.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve bugs, and enhance the overall quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Ensure the application meets telecom and industry-specific security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Engage in comprehensive testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Implement automated testing practices to improve application reliability and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Lead technical discussions and innovation sessions to introduce new technologies and methodologies to enhance development processes.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages for Android development.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM/MVP architecture patterns.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSocket.
  • Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt.
  • Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools.
  • Knowledge of telecom-specific protocols or services, including VoIP, messaging, or billing integration, is an advantage.
