About The Position

WeightWatchers is a global digital health company and the #1 doctor-recommended behavioral weight health program in the world. The Data Team at WeightWatchers plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the business by leveraging vast amounts of data to produce insights that enhance member services. The team is looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to partner with the Marketing organization, transforming marketing data into actionable insights that influence CRM strategies, customer retention initiatives, and lifetime value optimization. This role involves managing analytics requests, developing data models and dashboards, and collaborating with marketing stakeholders to drive impactful results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related area.
  • Experience (6+ years) in an analytics role, ideally with some experience with marketing data (Braze, MTA, etc).
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience building dashboards and data models using Looker and LookML.
  • A strong understanding of CRM principles, customer segmentation, retention strategies, and lifetime value concepts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data from marketing automation platforms such as Braze.
  • Experience with Python or R.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • Experience analyzing data from product analytics platforms such as Amplitude.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analytics point of contact for the Marketing team, understanding their key objectives and translating their business questions into analytical projects.
  • Manage and execute a wide range of analytics requests related to CRM performance, customer retention, and lifetime value analysis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data models and dashboards in Looker using LookML to provide clear and accessible insights.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders to define key metrics, build reports, and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing campaign performance, customer segmentation, and overall marketing effectiveness through data analysis.
  • Communicate analytical findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and presentations.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure the accuracy and reliability of marketing data and reporting.
  • Own the relationship between WW and our third party MTA / MMM vendors.
  • Scope and analyze incrementality and geo lift tests.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data visualization.
