About The Position

The Senior Analytics Developer at Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) will play a crucial role in fostering a data-centric culture and enhancing decision-making processes through analytics. This remote position involves developing canonical data sources, creating dashboards for actionable insights, and supporting self-serve and sales organizations. The successful candidate will work in a cloud environment, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and assist less-technical audiences, all while collaborating with various teams to drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in building Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions.
  • Expert knowledge of business intelligence/analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Microstrategy.
  • Experience with cloud Data Warehousing solutions based on Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, GCP, or AWS Redshift.
  • Strong acquaintance with ETL/ELT tools such as Data Factory, Alteryx, or Informatica.
  • Recent experience developing data solutions for automation and statistical analysis using Python and advanced SQL skills.
  • Expertise in working with SAP ECC and JD Edwards data structures and business processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist).
  • Recent experience developing custom visualization solutions using JavaScript.
  • Experience in developing statistical analysis, machine learning, and Gen AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with customer teams as a trusted partner to identify high-impact analytics problems and pioneer data-driven solutions.
  • Establish a data-driven culture by defining, tracking, and operationalizing metrics.
  • Solve complex business problems using business intelligence/analytics tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, or DataBricks.
  • Design data analytics assets like reports and dashboards that tell a business story with a targeted user experience.
  • Implement and support an analytics platform for ad hoc access to large datasets.
  • Participate in the creation of conceptual/physical data models and lead business requirements for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
  • Manipulate and mine data from databases using SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Develop custom visualization solutions using JavaScript.
  • Communicate data insights and methodologies effectively to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to capture and store data appropriately.
  • Monitor existing metrics and propose new actionable risk signals.
  • Support company COS initiatives with a focus on developing a lean mindset.
