  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of compounds, including drug substances and drug products.
  • Recommend analytical characterization packages and ensure data quality in compliance with regulations.
  • Promote scientific excellence and innovation in the Analytical area.
  • Manage complex projects and analyses with significant business impact.
  • Represent the analytical team to clients and engage in discussions with subject matter experts.
  • Determine work effort required for project scopes and propose solutions to meet client expectations.
  • Perform project analytical tasks such as method development and specification creation.
  • Support colleagues in similar activities and solve complex analytical problems.
  • Discuss technical and scientific issues with customers actively.
  • Supervise activities of less experienced colleagues in the work group.
  • Prepare and discuss complex product specifications.
  • Execute activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines and internal policies.
  • Conduct and supervise analytical investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Support audits and client visits, evaluate and approve materials, and supplier qualifications.
  • Provide training internally and to other areas as required.
  • Master Analytical Chemistry processes and tools.
  • Make quality and timely decisions based on multiple data sources.
  • Manage risk and uncertainty, anticipating and escalating roadblocks.
  • PhD qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or similar fields (highly preferred).
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry or a scientific background in a relevant field, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Advanced understanding of scientific domains relevant to the pharma industry and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • Knowledge, experience, and skills to conduct tasks in accordance with established rules and procedures.
