As a Senior Analyst on the team, you will primarily be responsible for conducting comprehensive credit analysis in assigning life/health insurance financial strength and debt ratings, as well as collaborating with analytical colleagues in financial services sectors across the U.S. & Canada. As part of your role, you will meet with issuers, assess historical and projected data, and compile this information into a thorough committee presentation and effective written analysis. You may also participate in moderately complex analytical and financing-specific situations, assist in resolving client needs, participate in investor calls with more senior analysts, and contribute to research for publications or special projects. As your career progresses, you may have the opportunity to present at conferences, support and write opinion pieces, or speak with the media. The Senior Analyst undertakes rigorous analytical work and is proficient in conducting research and fundamental credit analysis, analyzing financial statements, building financial models and forecasts, and writing analytical reports on rated insurance entities. The successful candidate works effectively both in a team and individually, possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, is client-focused , and demonstrates solid presentation skills in front of internal and external audiences. We work in a hybrid environment with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
