About The Position

As the Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Planning, you will be based in Orrville at the Corporate Offices with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence a minimum of 9 days a month during core weeks as determined by the Company. In this role, you will analyze and determine replenishment requirements to ensure available inventory for sourced finished goods, create truckload inter-company shipments maximizing warehouse shipping and receiving efficiencies, and manage product supply across the enterprise to meet customer service and supply chain objectives for multiple business areas. You will also allocate available production to distribution centers for push distribution environments covering customer orders, inter-company orders, safety stock, and forecasts. Additionally, you will act as the single point of contact for customer service in identifying supply solution alternatives and analyze and determine rules for inventory and replenishment plans that support customer service while minimizing supply chain costs. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the review and resolution of inventory shortages, identifying root causes for product stock-outs, and providing support and direction in working with JMS and copack fruit processing locations, third-party warehouses, and JMS operations in fulfilling fruit requirements and inventory levels. You will maintain JMS fruit planning systems to determine replenishment requirements of frozen fruit supply to support production locations and create truckload shipments of raw material fruit to production locations to support production needs, while understanding quality requirements for storage and thaw times. Furthermore, you will manage deployment activities in support of special projects, new product launches, and acquisitions, monitor inventory levels of sourced items, and identify opportunities for inventory reduction. You will also support the supply planning manager with projects, routine inventory discussions, and analysis using system and offline tools, along with other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of experience in inventory management and/or supply chain
  • Desire and ability to identify improvement opportunities
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and listening skills
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office and Supply Planning System
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills
