About The Position

The Senior Analyst Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the forecasting, analyzing market performance, and ensuring alignment to established KPI metrics for multiple clients. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Operations. They will also support monthly inventory processes and Excess & Obsolete (E&O) reporting, contributing directly to operational efficiency and business performance. The Senior Analyst will assist in the short and long-term strategic direction for aspects specific to supply plans, including plans to drive profitability. The Senior Analyst will assist in promoting synergy among all business support groups of the global supply chain, and primarily does this by influencing the teams and peers in Procurement, Supplier Management as well as Operations, to ensure departmental results are delivered in accordance with the Supply Chain Planning strategic plan and Company Core Values.

Requirements

  • Very detail-oriented, able to identify anomalies and errors in data, and capture trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Highly self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Able to assess a variety of information, draw similarities, identify differences, and compile actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional financial and analytical skills, including deep knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity
  • Strong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of business
  • Proven ability to set direction, clearly articulate a strong point of view and influence others
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain management or Accounting/Finance
  • BS Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or another technical/mathematical field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, modeling, automation)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and ability to query and manipulate complex datasets

Nice To Haves

  • MBA with quantitative background or another Advanced Degree preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Asurion operations highly preferred
  • Ability to navigate and analyze data in PowerBI preferred
  • Experience with AI (ChatGPT, Co-pilot, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance forecasts for multiple markets using historical trends, market insights, and operational inputs
  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly market performance and track results against forecasted KPI metrics
  • Identify variances in metrics and be able to communicate detailed analysis and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Support monthly Excess & Obsolete (E&O) deliverables by identifying trends, risks, and mitigation opportunities
  • Identify and action liquidation opportunities to maximize value of Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory
  • Support monthly inventory processes by reporting and monitoring performance against targets and identifying mitigation opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and lead efforts to implement improvements
  • Lead and influence in a highly matrixed environment and have significant interaction with functional teams such as Procurement, Supplier Management, Channel Management, Finance, and Operations
  • Build and maintain communication channels among all operational groups within the supply chain through information sharing, thought leadership, and tactical and strategic planning
  • Assist in the implementation, data management, development and automation of Planning deliverables
