About the position
As a Senior Analyst in the Supply Chain Data & Analytics team at ICU Medical, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Supply Chain efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction through data-driven insights. This position involves analyzing large and diverse data sets to support strategic recommendations and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across various Supply Chain functions, including Customer Excellence, Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Unearth insights from large and diverse sets of data to create dashboards and visualizations for strategic decision making.
- Build analytics capabilities to improve operational performance by connecting disparate data silos.
- Transform data into actionable information by establishing hypotheses and identifying root causes using rigorous analytical methods.
- Design layouts and develop requirements for automated Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) reports.
- Interpret historical, current, and projected data to identify problems and areas for procedural or system changes.
- Partner with supply chain teams to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and support the development of data-driven narratives to influence leaders.
- Synthesize analytics into clear and compelling storylines for various stakeholders.
- Deliver on both short-term requests and complex long-term analyses and modeling.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Degree in statistics, computer science, data science, or a related technical/quantitative field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field, with a strong understanding of key Supply Chain challenges.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually compelling presentations of data models/results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce actionable research findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
