About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Supplier Quality & Compliance to support the Interiors Services & Specialty Products organization in Colorado Springs, CO. This high-visibility role is responsible for ensuring suppliers consistently deliver materials, components, and services that meet Collins Aerospace requirements for quality, delivery, and regulatory compliance. The Sr. Analyst will drive supplier performance improvement, manage supplier-related quality issues, and collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers to prevent defects and enable continuous improvement across the supply chain. In this role, you will partner with site leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and suppliers to drive quality performance, support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and engage with Program Management Teams (PMT) and customers. This position is well suited for a quality professional seeking to expand their influence, lead impactful initiatives, and contribute to Collins’ commitment to operational excellence within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting MRB activities and performing structured root cause analysis.
  • Lean / Six Sigma process improvement experience (Green Belt preferred).
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management system requirements.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers and program teams.
  • Knowledge of measurement equipment and inspection techniques (e.g., FARO, calipers, pin gauges).

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring, escalation, and processing of supplier nonconforming material submissions.
  • Support and manage supplier onboarding, qualification, and certification activities.
  • Manage source inspection and material release processes.
  • Lead escape management activities, including root cause analysis, problem solving, and the development and validation of corrective and preventive actions for systemic supplier issues.
  • Proactively support RTX supplier programs, driving continuous improvement and long-term supplier sustainability.
  • Analyze supplier quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier-specific quality improvement strategies, leveraging proactive quality tools such as PFMEA, MSA, process flow diagrams, control plans, and SPC, and ensuring effective implementation.
  • Ensure suppliers are capable of meeting all contractual and operational requirements, including Resourcing Gate readiness and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
