About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Strategy Project Management provides essential support to drive the execution of Macy's most critical business strategies underpinning 'The Bold New Chapter.' The Senior Analyst will play a key role in bringing to life Macy's most value-driving, strategic enterprise initiatives, positioning Macy's for success in both the near and long term.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in management consulting, project coordination or related roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to synthesize complex analyses and information into clear and concise key takeaways.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with team members and stakeholders to deliver project objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Act as a thought partner to cross-functional teams to develop project plans, extract key insights from analyses, identify cross-functional dependencies, set ambitious but achievable timelines.
  • Problem solve with the working team to overcome risks and challenges that arise throughout the course of the project.
  • Create clear and concise communication (e.g., slides, reports) to update senior stakeholders on progress, elicit feedback, and drive decision making.
  • Facilitate communication and problem solving between cross functional teams to drive collaboration and solutioning.
  • Maintain effective level of project tracking to drive progress and alignment across working team.
  • Monitor project execution and escalate any potential risks or delays.
  • Support teams in addressing issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Serve as a point of contact and expert for project-related inquiries.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
