About The Position

If so, you may be the perfect fit for the Sr Analyst, Specialty Compliance & Ethics - Data Incident Response position at Walmart! As a Sr Analyst for Data Incident Response, you will be working in a high-volume position within a higher risk compliance area. You will be responsible for responding to reported data incidents to ensure timely and accurate closure of each incident, and work with stakeholders on policies, standard operating procedures and guidance with input from leadership. You will also be collaborating with the Senior Manager to communicate information to associates and monitoring compliance and ethics questions for potential gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Human Resources, or related field OR 2 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • Experience working in case management activities.
  • Strong communication skills, business judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve processes and drive decisions.

  • Experience in compliance doing case management activities.
  • Skilled at prioritizing and addressing conflicting priorities.
  • Familiarity with investigations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals of different levels of seniority.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Legal experience in HIPAA, the HIPAA breach rule, and state data breach notification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Investigating suspected data breaches in the United States that occur within the company.
  • Leading both simple and complex incident investigations such as triage, containment, eradication, evidence collection, documentation, and reporting.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources during incident management.
  • Providing high quality and professional written or verbal reports detailing incident management activities.
