About The Position

As Google drives toward audacious goals, we rely on our SEC Reporting team to know exactly what that growth looks like. Each quarter and year end, the team prepares the release of Google's financial statements to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the public. In this role, you will efficiently gather financial information, and execute the process of preparing, reviewing, submitting, and distributing Google's financial statements to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the public. You will also provide analysis and review of various internal and external reports and give expert advice to senior management on U.S. GAAP and SEC filings. You'll understand a broad range of technical accounting matters and their associated disclosures requirements, and work closely with Alphabet and Bet Accounting teams on preparation of the financial statements. You will be part of a team that prepares reports that reach analysts, investors, industry groups and users globally.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Ability to analyze and review financial reports.
  • Excellent communication skills for advising senior management.
