As a Senior Analyst, Sales Strategy and Operations - Partner & Alliances in a remote-friendly role, you will help manage the effectiveness of the Partner & Alliances organization by consolidating different reporting functions and metrics into a unified suite of actionable insights, driving efficiency of processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and forecasting to guide internal efficiency, profitability, and on-time delivery for our teams, partners, and customers. Our Partner & Alliances Sales Strategy & Operations team is comprised of people with backgrounds in partner sales operations, sales analytics, and partner strategy. We turn data into actions to increase Atlassian's Partner & Alliances performance. We're hiring a Senior Analyst, reporting to the Manager for Partner & Alliances Sales Strategy & Operations. You are an analyst with a background in working with Salesforce data, exploring insights with SQL, reporting through Tableau, and supporting SaaS alliances. Here, you'll serve as a strategic advisor and guide our Strategic Partners team using analytics.

Requirements

  • Analytics and SQL skills: You know what questions to ask, what the data says, and what actions to take based on the results.
  • Ability to package data into relevant insights: You create compelling presentations, lead executives through data deep-dives, and build and collaborate on real-time dashboards from CRM data.
  • Experience with SFDC and Tableau is a big asset.
  • Strong partnership skills: You understand that an organization is made up of very different parts and relish influencing other teams.
  • Process improvement know-how: You can enhance business processes from diagnosis to documentation to execution.
  • Ability to deliver presentations ranging from C-level presentations to hands-on data deep-dives.
  • 5+ years of ever-increasing responsibility in Partner/Sales Operations, Strategy, BizOps, or Analytics role within a B2B (ideally SaaS) company or in a strategy consulting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic Partners team by partnering with multiple groups to create powerful reporting & analytics.
  • Analyze foundational reporting around SaaS sales metrics (lead conversion, opportunity forecasting, NNACV bookings) and alliance progress (incentive spend, adoption, ROI).
  • Work with a technical team to identify stakeholder needs and develop reporting requirements for BI dashboards.
  • Monitor partner performance efficiency and drive recommendations for improvement plans.
  • Identify root causes and contribute to change management and go-to-market projects to improve team performance.
  • Support fiscal year planning, target and OKR setting, and ad-hoc analytics.
