Job overview and responsibilities The Sr. Analyst - Safety Data is responsible for the comprehensive analysis of all Inflight safety related data; including but not limited to; lost time injuries, OSHA Recordable injuries, flight attendant safety reports, divisional audits, passenger incidents, and other ad-hoc data or reports. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will calibrate and routinely meet with a team of data analysts who report to a vendor partner. Leverage available data to provide Infight leadership with a picture of current and proactive needs to mitigate risk and provide a safe work environment for divisional employees. This is a hybrid position (T-TH in the office)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
1-2+ years’ experience conducting complex analysis
OSHA policies and reporting
Advanced analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
Presentation skills in front of large audiences
Strong skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
Complex problem solving through independent critical thinking
Data driven
Strong experience building dashboards
Travel up to 20%
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Responsibilities

Completes comprehensive analysis across numerous data sources, summarizes information, identifies, escalates, and presents trends to Inflight leaders
Develops and maintains data technology tools to enhance tracking of safety performance and reporting
Serves as a liaison to the Inflight Base Management Team for injury tracking and reporting
Routinely meets with and calibrates vendor partner analysts who read, taxonomize, and provide notification of flight attendant safety reports
