About The Position

The position involves engaging at all levels in well thought out conversations regarding contract management, supplier relationship management, category strategy and management, source selection, influential communication, problem solving, data digital literacy, and financial acumen. The role requires extracting relevant contracts, analyzing contract components, validating them against standard templates, and identifying potential risks. It also includes tracking supplier performance, developing relationships with suppliers, identifying savings opportunities, and preparing lists of potential suppliers for sourcing activities. The position emphasizes effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field.
• 2 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Data modelling, data analytics, and data management experience.
• Experience in procurement, including strategic sourcing processes and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Engage in conversations regarding contract management.
• Extract relevant contracts from management tools for analysis.
• Identify and understand contract components such as terms and conditions.
• Validate contract components against standard templates.
• Identify and classify suppliers and complete supplier assessments.
• Track and monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Identify savings opportunities and execute plans for less complex categories.
• Prepare lists of potential suppliers for sourcing activities.
• Support suppliers and internal stakeholders during sourcing events.
• Organize and communicate thoughts effectively.
• Use data to articulate results and provide recommendations.
• Identify and propose ways to improve procurement processes.
