As a Senior Inventory Analyst on the PIM Operations Team , you will provide critical day-to-day support for Target’s Core Planning & Inventory Management (PIM) teams. You will help identify and resolve replenishment issues, triage time-sensitive requests, deliver nuanced business training , and provide strategic partnership to PIM leadership to strengthen enterprise operational consistency. Your work ensures our PIM teams are empowered to make informed, agile decisions that drive reliability and support our stores, guests, and enterprise goals. In this role, you will deliver key inventory outcomes related specifically to in-store events, emphasizing key sampling or demo programs, out-of-aisle assets, and other sales and traffic driving initiatives. You will act as the Inventory Management expert on a broad cross function team tasked with standing-up and maintaining programmatic store events. You will leverage your deep understanding of Target’s inventory replenishment systems and logic to develop routines, best-practices, and playbooks that can scale across core business teams. You will monitor and report key event success metrics as both leading and lagging indicators of success, troubleshooting opportunities to drive improved outcomes for future events. At the outset, much of the role will be focused on the ambiguous work of process and best practice creation, eventually shifting into a very detailed run-state key event management role that ensures timely execution across the breadth of Planning Inventory Management.
