About The Position

Walmart's Trust & Safety (T&S) organization supporting Last Mile Delivery (LMD) is seeking an analyst to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Strong communicator who can translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data analytics in safety, compliance, logistics, or operations.
  • Proficient in SQL and tools like Power BI, Tableau, BigQuery, or Dataiku.
  • Passionate about data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting or safety/compliance analytics.
  • Certifications in data analysis, data governance, or privacy.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and/or predictive analytics techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with T&S team members to gather requirements, identify relevant data, analyze, validate, visualize, and deliver on analytics work product that facilitates accurate, data-driven decision making.
  • Create dynamic dashboards and reports to support T&S pillars of safety, incident management, fraud, and governance.
  • Coordinate with team leader to manage incoming requests and ensure the most important business critical work is prioritized.
  • Support LMD data governance team to drive best practices and quality in analytics work product.
  • Test and validate new AI tools and similar advanced analytics products that provide faster speed to data.
  • Work with data science resources to provide feedback and iterate on new solutions.
