The Sr. Analyst, Marketing Analytics role in Columbus, OH, is an on-site position that encompasses marketing analytics, business analysis, and data engineering. This role supports campaign and consumer analysis through data preparation, dashboards, automation, performance measurement, and executive-level communication with stakeholders. It requires strong leadership and communication skills to present insights and influence marketing teams and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on analytics and data visualization experience, with a focus on business analysis and applied analytics, including data mining and basic data engineering concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable recommendations and present to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities based on business needs.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in SQL and Python.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • MS/MBA or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in CRM and Marketing Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Services (ADF and Databricks) & Github.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a marketing analytics leader, translating stakeholder objectives into clear campaign analysis questions, KPIs, and measurement approaches.
  • Support marketing strategy and decision-making by delivering executive-ready dashboards and insight summaries that link performance to business impact and recommended actions.
  • Extract actionable insights from large-scale consumer and marketing campaign data using SQL, Python, R, and analytics tools; design and maintain ETL pipelines, data hygiene processes, and automation to deliver high-quality analytics and reporting/dashboard.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and CRM campaign test-and-learn initiatives to evaluate and optimize B2C marketing performance across digital channels (email, app, SMS) and traditional direct mail.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for cross-functional, data- and technology-driven initiatives impacting CRM strategy and execution.
  • Develop and implement strategic campaign planning through structured problem formulation, experimental design, and measurement frameworks to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Synthesize analytical findings into clear, actionable deliverables and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
