Requirements

  • College degree or comparable work experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in claims administration, or a closely related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team-based fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with professional clients.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively adhere to a budget and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Understanding of data sets and data management concepts required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises work product of junior Analysts and is accountable for a full case load of matters they are responsible for administering.
  • Proactively spot issues and confer with leadership to develop a plan for mitigation.
  • Proactively managing cases to meet and exceed project requirements and deadlines, within budget and at the highest quality standards.
  • Effectively collaborates across the business to ensure timely execution and case management.
  • Handle escalated claim inquiries and appropriately communicate findings with clients, claimants, managers and/or Senior Managers as needed.
  • Identify and seeks to address process challenges and effectively communicates with project teams and vendors as necessary.
  • Review project reporting and summaries for accuracy and completeness to identify case-related issues to be addressed.
  • Assist in development of business rules for claims processing and payments and ensuring related documentation accurately reflects requirements outlined in the applicable service agreement.
