About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire a Senior Analyst for its Industrials Advisory group located in New York, NY. The Industrials Advisory group is responsible for covering a broad range of large-cap corporate clients and financial sponsors in sectors including aerospace, defense, and government services; automotive; building products; capital goods and machinery; diversified industrials; industrial technology and automation. Evercore's unique market position provides Analysts the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions in markets around the world. The small transaction team structure provides the Analyst with a strong platform to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of the individual's career. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments including: buy-side M&A, sell-side M&A, portfolio separations and breakups, balance sheet restructurings, evaluation of strategic alternatives and assistance in raising debt or equity financing.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant investment banking work experience (Class of 2023 strongly preferred)
• Excellent team-based attitude
• Relentless work ethic and high energy level
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in finance

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior bankers on multi-billion dollar transactions
