About The Position

The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the America's Regional Investment Team at CBRE Investment Management, focusing on the execution of investments within the region. This role involves supporting the Investment Management function through due diligence on transactions, preparing investment recommendations, managing assets, and contributing to client reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment or investment management.
  • BS/BA required, preferably in accounting, economics, finance, or real estate studies.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks efficiently under time pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Argus Enterprise is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial investment review for new investment opportunities across various structures.
  • Responsible for initial financial analysis and written investment summaries.
  • Performs due diligence of investment opportunities including financial, market, property analysis, and ESG initiatives.
  • Collaborates with other business functions to gather necessary information for investment reviews.
  • Builds new deal materials including preliminary investment recommendations and due diligence reports.
  • Supports presentation of investment opportunities to the Global Investment Team and Investment Committee.
  • Responsible for Asset Management of investments, reviewing quarterly reports and validating data.
  • Produces Asset Management Reports including performance reforecasts and investment review notes.
  • Works with the Global Portfolio Management team to provide investment updates and assist in reporting.
  • Supports the creation of top-down strategy and sector reviews.
