The Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation is responsible for supporting the development of incentive programs that motivate the sales force and drive results. Administer the day-to-day activities of incentive compensation programs, including but not limited to, education and training, incentive plan effectiveness monitoring, data maintenance and system updates. Provides weekly, monthly, and quarterly accuracy of Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (SICP) reporting and payouts through a comprehensive set of quality checks (QC). Collaborates and works with IC Associate Director, IC Manager, Sales Operations team members, Data Management team members, the Information Technology (IT) department, as well as outside vendors, to process, validate and distribute SICP reports to the sales force on a regular, timely basis and coordinates payments with Human Resources, Finance, and Payroll departments. Ensures compliance with various global laws, regulations, and Health Care Compliance requirements. Investigates and resolves sales force inquiries related to incentive compensation. Administer Rewards and Recognition programs, Starter Ratings and Ad Hoc contests. Provides tracking support for various Sales & Marketing contacts plus partners with the Call Planning and Alignments team to ensure appropriate business rules. Continuously looks for ways to increase effectiveness and efficiencies to deliver value. Supports co-promotions and multiple selling models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of total business experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) is required
  • Proficient with standard computer software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access etc.) is required
  • Strong analytical and integration skills required
  • Must demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritize to achieve results within a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to lead with minimal direction required
  • Must be willing to partner and collaborate across all cross functional areas

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 2 years of Incentive Compensation experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical sales process preferred
  • Experience working with Tableau, and Wizard AI is preferred
  • Experience in an operation’s and/or field environment strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., IMS/IQVIA, etc.) and data warehouse environments is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with SAS, Data Warehouse, and Salesforce.com preferred
  • Experience working with field sales as well as IT preferred
  • Willingness to “have an opinion” backed up by data and the confidence to influence in meetings and one to one basis is preferred
  • Experience in leveraging insights/analytics to develop comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions are preferred
  • Adept in maneuvering within a matrixed organization and building productive collaborative relationships is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducts monthly IC processing validations to ensure accuracy of data, appropriate incentives, attainable goals, and to monitor performance against established plans
  • Distributes incentive compensation reports to the sales force
  • Works with sales team members to answer inquiries, investigate issues, devise solutions, and provide education and training on incentive compensation topics
  • Provides timely communications to the sales force and is responsive to all inquiries and questions
  • Sends updates to the sales force on contest rules, status and results
  • Designs recognition messages to be disseminated by leadership
  • Designs contest reports that align to the strategic objectives outlined by marketing partners
