About The Position

What is the opportunity? The role will support the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Team in New York What will you do? Transaction execution, new business presentations and meetings, and other such duties Working with Associates and other Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials Coordinating with Industry, Product and other groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas/opportunities Generate new ideas for content creation and analyses for clients’ Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities and RBC as a whole Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis Other such duties, responsibilities and authority as may be reasonably required What is needed for success? The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $135,000 depending on class year and factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of Investment Banking experience
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Series 79 licensed
