About The Position

The Global Insurance Analyst will support World Vision International's (WVI) travel and emergency evacuation program, managing data and reporting functions for the department. This role involves overseeing various lines of insurance, compiling and analyzing data for underwriting, claims administration, and loss forecasting across WVI's global insurance programs. The position requires maintaining communication with various World Vision entities globally and ensuring effective management of insurance-related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in insurance/risk management.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work through prioritization and project management.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal; other languages are desirable.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• Two to three years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a risk management capacity for a large global organization.
• General knowledge of the commercial insurance marketplace and basic risk management principles.
• Insurance-specific education or professional designations such as ARM, AIC, or broker licensing.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead day-to-day management of WVI's global travel accident and emergency evacuation insurance programs.
• Compile and analyze data for underwriting and coverage placement processes.
• Manage claims administration and loss forecasting for global insurance programs.
• Develop and maintain systems for tracking and managing claims, including dashboards and databases.
• Create reports, presentations, and training materials for Global Insurance.
• Lead finance-related work for the department, including budget tracking and variance analysis.
• Identify and mitigate risks to reduce claims across WVI's global insurance portfolio.
• Engage in professional development to enhance knowledge in insurance and risk management.
