Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of experience in CPG or Food Industry.
  • Strong SAP and OneStream experience a must.
  • B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience harnessing technology to share insights and information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Build from scratch mentality with the ability to institute new standardized processes and establish a consistent, disciplined approach to how we operate.
  • A drive, commitment and sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Communication skills with ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial individuals to facilitate decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Key business partner to Commercial Lead for Latam and Sales Lead managing Biscuit and Cracker imports against key brands McVitie’s, Carrs, Crawfords and Jacobs.
  • Provide adhoc support to various stakeholders representing these businesses.
  • Support strategic priority to grow Canada to >$20M Net Sales in next 3 years.
  • Manage all aspects of monthly accounting close and reporting as it relates to specified markets with attention to sales, marketing spend, trade investment, overheads and royalties.
  • Ensure accuracy of charges and transfer prices & highlight opportunities for cost recovery.
  • Support the creation of monthly management packs for key business partners, Americas leadership team and group finance.
  • Manage budget process for specified markets, ensuring it is delivered efficiently with high quality & financial integrity.
  • Manage trend analysis and provide insights to support decision making.
  • Manage transfer pricing and ensure adherence to policy.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Head of FP&A and Strategy, CFO and Controller.
  • Become an established super user on various financial systems including Onestream and SAP.
