Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at RXO, you will support the business unit by preparing financial reports, analyses, and forecasts, while working with key stakeholders to achieve operational objectives. In this role, you’ll have the ability to positively affect RXO’s future through advice and counsel while creating long-term success for the company and for yourself.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex formulas

  • CPA, CMA, CFA or applicable professional designation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to various user groups
  • Ability to think critically and leverage available resources to troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
  • Strong drive to seek continuous improvement in reports and processes during companywide growth and expansion

Responsibilities

  • Generate, maintain and ensure the accuracy of financial and operational scorecards for various lines of business as part of the daily/weekly/monthly financial review process; determine key drivers of over/under performance
  • Support the development of the monthly MOR (Management Operating Review) deck, which includes KPIs and financial information reviewed by Executive Leadership
  • Facilitate forecasting and budgeting of P&L and balance sheet activity
  • Provide broader financial/analytical support for functional initiatives, including participation on working teams, ownership of deliverables and tracking of results; initiatives could relate to volume/market share, pricing, sales and new business development, field or functional productivity, and external benchmarking
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and complex modeling analyses to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Leverage cross-functional relationships in order to deliver financial reporting to various user groups across the organization
