About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drug Abatement Program Coordinator onsite at our Cedar Rapids location. Join our dynamic team as a Primary Designated Employer Representative (DER) in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This person will focus on managing program activities related to new hires, addressing attrition, conducting monthly check-ins, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Must have Excel proficiency and ability to create charts, pivot tables, and graphs to assist with monthly data analysis
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP
  • Requires the ability to obtain DER certification

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary DER for new employee hires and drug testing management
  • Work with Human Resources to process workflows and gather appropriate data for applicants into safety sensitive positions
  • Manage and process results for all pool testing with 3rd party administrator
  • Acts as the primary interface with the 3rd party administrator and resolves any issues
  • Maintain records and workflows to ensure on-time completion and documentation for compliance with FAA regulations
  • Review data for completeness and work with others if information is missing or incomplete
  • Compile statistics and data for monthly and annual reporting
  • Ensure all training is completed as required by FAA regulations
  • Troubleshoot, as needed, with internal Accounts Payable teams
  • Manage audits for FAA Drug abatement and enterprise quality
  • Manage drug abatement records in Iron Mountain
  • Support voluntary disclosures to the FAA and corrective actions for any process non-compliances
