Senior Analyst – Domestic Tax: The Sr. Analyst, Domestic Tax will be a member of Univar Solutions’ Corporate Tax Department located at the Tax Office in Bellevue Washington, or Corporate Headquarters in Downers Grove, Illinois. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Tax and will have the option of a “Works for Me” hybrid schedule.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience, preferably some in public accounting
Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
A high degree of competency with Microsoft Excel
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and continually changing environment

Nice To Haves

CPA license, or CPA eligible preferred
Master of Taxation or Accounting preferred
Experience with tax compliance software (OneSource preferred) and tax research software preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of the state income and franchise tax functions including returns and supporting calculations
Process state/federal estimated tax payments
State tax research and correspondence with state tax authorities
Assist with preparation of federal income tax returns (corporate/consolidated and partnership entities) and supporting calculations
Support tax department with special projects
Participate in tax digitalization projects
Manage items on the Tax Notice Log and assist with resolutions
Other projects as requested
