As digital commerce becomes increasingly vital in our Card Members daily lives, we seek an analytics professional to be part of a team which is critical to ongoing success in this space. The Commerce, Wallets, and Identity Analytics Sr. Analyst will provide analytical insights and support for Commerce, Wallet, and Identity Products. The role requires a strong analytical focus. The successful candidate is expected to exhibit expertise in understanding and structuring data, as well as drawing meaningful insights and guiding strategy through analytics, design of experiments, or decision support logic.

  • Extract insights from data using SQL or Python in a Google Cloud environment.
  • Provide the results in actionable and impactful formats to business partners in Product and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Product partners to develop insights to enhance their products, including customer behavior/usage studies or product diagnostic analyses which will be used to drive larger team’s decision strategy and project requirements.
  • Apply experiment design approach in context of optimizing digital experiences and identifying the strategy that can deliver best on both business goals and customer experience.
  • Demonstrate creativity, curiosity, and passion for dealing with large amounts of data and converting it into valuable, actionable information.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Collaborate effectively and work closely within a coordinated team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Able to present results of analysis to non-technical audience with experience in crafting presentations with effective data visualization.
