About The Position

Squarespace is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics & Operations team, focused on CRM Measurement & Reporting. You will power our customer growth and retention strategy through analysis, measurement and reporting. The range of our outbound lifecycle marketing programs means you'll address complex questions that influence campaign effectiveness, audience strategy and outcomes. This is a hybrid role working from our New York City headquarters (3 days per week). You will report to the Manager of our Marketing Services Analytics & Operations team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an analytics or data science role supporting CRM, lifecycle or retention marketing
  • Experience influencing CRM strategy, planning and performance through data analysis, decision frameworks, and test-and-learn programs
  • Experience building dashboards and working with large datasets using SQL; knowledge of dbt
  • Experience applying predictive analytics (e.g., propensity modeling, clustering, lookalike audiences) for segmentation and targeting
  • Experience using statistical tools like Python or R
  • Knowledge of CRM processes, tactics (e.g., email, push, SMS, in-product) and platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with in-house Marketing, Data Science and Engineering teams to translate our goals into analytical requirements, solutions, and insights
  • Build self-service reporting tools to surface campaign results at scale and reduce time to insight and decision for CRM and its partners
  • Measure the holistic impact of CRM incentives and touchpoints (e.g., email, push, in-product) on acquisition, cross-sell, retention and other outcomes
  • Develop predictive models and analyses to shape audience strategy and improve targeting, personalization and engagement
  • Present recommendations to partners across several levels
  • Promote best practices among peers and partners
