About The Position

As a Senior Financial Analyst within the FP&A team at Nclusion, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a fast-growing, mission-driven fintech company. You will develop financial models, forecasts, and insights that inform strategic planning, operational performance, and long-term decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering across teams, driving clarity through numbers, and contributing to Nclusion’s global impact. With a specific focus on Strategic M&A, this role will support our deal pipelines through target research, market analysis, & financial modeling. As we focus on building financial services in emerging markets, partnership with our global operations and legal teams is an important aspect of the role. With planned expansion in Francophone Africa, as well as in Latin America, comfort or fluency in French or Spanish is highly valued.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment analysis, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Professional working ability or fluency in French or Spanish.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools; strong presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CFA, or CPA certification.
  • Experience working in high-growth fintech, emerging markets, or impact-driven organizations.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau for financial data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Own components of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning. Develop and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to inform business performance and future growth scenarios. Perform variance analysis, identify key drivers, and recommend adjustments to ensure goals remain on track.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Support evaluation of potential acquisition and partnership opportunities by conducting financial assessments and building valuation models. Assist in due diligence activities by reviewing financial statements, operational metrics, and market assumptions. Support integration planning by modeling combined financial impacts, identifying cost and revenue synergies, and ensuring M&A analysis aligns with broader forecasts and corporate strategy.
  • Strategic & Operational Support: Partner with product, operations, regional, and leadership teams to evaluate financial performance and identify growth opportunities. Build business cases for new markets, partnerships, and product initiatives. Conduct market and competitive analyses to assess industry trends and strategic risks.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, new product economics, and long-term ROI. Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess operational, financial, and impact-related outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, data, and analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong linkage between forecasts and actuals. Partner with the impact team to incorporate community-driven metrics and outcomes into financial evaluations.
  • Reporting & Executive Support: Produce executive-ready dashboards, analyses, and presentations that clearly communicate performance, insights, and recommendations. Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with actionable analysis and guidance.
