About The Position

The Senior Analyst in Corporate Compensation and Benefits Accounting at Hilton plays a crucial role in managing financial performance related to compensation and benefits. This position focuses on the month-end close process, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting for global compensation and benefits activities. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including external vendors and internal teams, to maintain financial integrity and compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience in Accounting or other financial function.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP Accounting Principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Knowledge of Month-End Close and Budgeting.
  • Intermediate-level Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookups).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly close and ad-hoc journal entries.
  • Perform general ledger reviews and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies or outstanding items.
  • Prepare annual financial statements for Hilton 401K and Pension Plan audits.
  • Partner with external vendors, corporate offices, and properties to record compensation and benefit journal entries.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation regarding financial documents and analysis.
  • Act as a primary contact for Finance partners regarding compensation and benefit payroll inquiries, coordinating with HR and Payroll GL teams.
