About The Position

As a Corporate Communications Generalist (Sr. Analyst) at MN8 Energy, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of our communications strategies. Supporting the Employee Communications and External Communications Leads, you’ll help bring our company’s story to life—both for our employees and the broader public. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant corporate communications experience (in-house or agency-side).
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Highly organized, action-oriented, and excellent in managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with digital communications best practices and ability to execute on them.
  • Experience working with or supporting senior management.
  • Curiosity and interest in the renewable energy industry; direct experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to take initiative and a can-do attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the renewable energy, clean energy, or ESG/sustainability sectors a plus.
  • Experience supporting financial, crisis, change management, or other critical communications in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and stakeholder needs (e.g. multiple large-scale projects that require advance planning.)
  • Experience and comfortability working with senior leaders and executives.
  • Familiarity with best practices for communicating to broad and diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing vendors or contractors.
  • Proficiency with digital communications tools (e.g. measurement tools, media relations databases, etc.)
  • Design skills are a plus (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, or similar)
  • Experience carrying an idea or initiative from inception to fruition.

Responsibilities

  • Bring your best ideas! Support the Employee Communications and External Communications Leads in planning and executing communications strategies and initiatives based on hearing and interpreting stakeholder needs.
  • Write, edit, and organize content for internal and external audiences—including newsletters, announcements, press releases, executive messages, and more.
  • Lead organizing and reporting on communications campaigns and initiatives.
  • Support media relations efforts, including fielding in-bounds, drafting materials, and coordinating with agencies.
  • Provide communications support for senior leaders, including but not limited to town hall logistics, including writing and presentation development, and preparation documents and research for media and other high-profile interactions.
  • Track and report on communications performance metrics.
  • Help manage digital communications tools and platforms.
