The Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst, Controllership is responsible for the process administration, reporting, analysis, and documentation of assignments in the regulatory reporting area. In this role, you will improve the effectiveness of the reporting team by analyzing adjustments and/or enhancements to current reporting processes and take initiative in suggesting and working on areas for development of more efficient processes. Location - Either one of our corporate offices in either Dallas - Thanksgiving Tower - Downtown Miami - Coconut Grove Hybrid - Required to be in office 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 3+ Years Relatable experience in accounting, financial reporting or auditing field - Required.
  • 3+ Years Equivalent work experience - Required.
  • Banking / other financial institution/industry experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated competence of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Practical analytical and accounting skills is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities required.
  • Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy, and demonstrate holistic understanding of accounting and financial report.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Excel required and technical experience a plus. In addition, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement through training.

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares or reviews regulatory reports and research to resolve discrepancies or significant variances for regulatory reports submitted to various regulators (FRB, FDIC, OCC, FFIEC and others).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports the regulatory reporting team is responsible for preparing and submitting to regulators.
  • Collaborates with internal business lines on data enhancement, requirements and reconciliation.
  • Participates in projects and process enhancements from end-to-end.
  • Improves the effectiveness of the reporting team by analyzing adjustments and/or enhancements to current reporting processes.
  • Open to or the ability to leverage AI to streamline and modernize workflows.
