About The Position

Partnering and collaborating across a wide group of multi-functional partners and OEC teams, the Senior Analyst, Compliance Analytics is responsible for assisting the US Commercial Compliance department in supporting the execution of the compliance monitoring program and the accurate reporting of data for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) for Federal Sunshine and state reporting. The analyst will assist in analysis of data, investigating, documenting, and reporting potential compliance observations for US Commercial employees related to HCPs in iREP (CRM system) and Concur CTE (expense reporting system) through use of various analytical tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years Compliance or transferable pharmaceutical and life sciences industry experience. Ideally experience in pharma compliance in the U.S.
  • Ability to manage several workflows simultaneously and coordinate with corresponding SMEs as necessary.
  • Ability to review large sets of data and recognize trends.
  • Intense curiosity and persistence to understand both big picture and important details.
  • Motivated self-starter with proven success in an interactive and remote team environment.
  • Collect, compile, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources, simultaneously for review by commercial, legal, and OEC management.
  • Inquisitive and open minded - Ability to learn, understand and guide to bring the best solution or alternatives that supports an efficient and effective Compliance program.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with use of analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik), systems and structures that facilitate an efficient and effective compliance program.
  • Maintain outstanding level of oral and written communication when addressing daily operational compliance inquiries from customer facing and home office personnel.
  • Monitor, identify, and report on trends within iREP, CTE, and other monitoring data, including presenting to the Office of Ethics and Compliance, Commercial, and Legal partners.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of operational tasks and provide regular updates and record reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the implementation of OEC Operations analytics and digital platforms, including creation of user training and guidance documents, design and implementation of processes to support Compliance analytics deployments, and guiding users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go live activities.
  • Utilizes the US OEC Operations analytics and other systems/tools to identify and monitor potential areas of compliance vulnerability, risk and trends, to conduct compliance-related data analysis, and create data stories to communicate areas of potential risk to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensures Compliance observations, mitigation activities and corrective action based on analysis and findings are documented and managed to completion.
  • Works with management to create proactive recommendations prioritizing and addressing the issues through various mitigation channels.
  • Aids in creating a loyal end user base, driving adoption and enhanced user experience.
  • Collaborates with OEC teams, Business Technology, and other cross-functional teams to address user needs and create differentiated and tailored products that support our risk-based approach and value-driven priorities across a variety of user personas.
  • Supports the use and adoption of our analytics and digital platforms through development of effective analytics solutions, providing input on potential options and opportunities to address complex problems, and through the development and delivery of tailored analytics training and communications.
  • Works closely with OEC and Business Technology teams to clearly articulate dashboard enhancements into user requirements.
  • Identifies and supports initiatives to enhance, mature and make our existing analytics insights and reporting processes more efficient.
  • Provides in-depth working knowledge of AbbVie internal policies and procedures, general industry practices, as well as the internal and external risk environment.
  • Interfaces with multiple functions and stakeholders to provide OEC operational and analytics guidance.
  • Can effectively garner insights from PowerBI dashboards and create clear data stories to effect change throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proactively produces reports, presentations, materials, guidelines and documents. Delivers updates to management, as required.
  • Supports other global OEC initiatives and Operational activities, which may require ad hoc travel (e.g., US compliance live monitoring).
