About The Position
The position involves managing parts order escalations from field-based technicians, including sourcing, supplier updates, and order entry. The role requires proactive management of aging purchase orders and back orders for timely and accurate updates using Walmart purchase order systems and work order management systems. Additionally, the position manages initiatives and processes for MRO parts supply chain management to ensure effective and timely maintenance of assets supported by Facility Services. This includes ensuring parts supplier compliance with new or existing systems, supplier contracts, and service level agreements. The role also involves implementing strategies for warehouse and van inventory stocking, utilizing the right technology and processes to optimize Walmart preferred suppliers at negotiated pricing, and executing technology and support enhancements to increase technician repair time efficiency and asset uptime. Furthermore, the position supports cross-functional teams engaged in Facilities Management Initiatives and special projects by utilizing parts and materials usage data to inform asset condition, total cost of ownership, forecast spend and frequency of use, predict parts needed for specific scopes of work, OEM conversion, and SKU consolidation, leveraging data to drive down cost, improve operational effectiveness, and technician efficiency.
