Senior Analyst, BI DevOps

About The Position

As a Senior Analyst, BI DevOps you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of LCPR’s companywide Data Sources. Develops conceptual data models, design, build, and test data sets from various systems to provide data sources for consumption into reporting and analytic business intelligence programs. Programs developed or modified are typically linked to several other programs; (i.e., the output of one becomes the input for another). This position interacts with a variety of groups across the company and with all levels of management. How can you add value? Develop ETLs on .net frameworks (SSIS) or in cloud-based technologies (AWS / Snowflake). This is key to developing processes to pull raw data from Core systems such as CSG and Salesforce and ultimately push official data sets into LCPRs Data Lake. Apply multivariate testing and analytical techniques to build data outputs that will result in better understanding of customer engagement, behavior, and segmentation. Design and build solutions to improve daily companywide operations by gathering the correct customer information from any core system database to fully analyze trends and ensure data availability. Create automatic procedures for monthly and daily reports needed by transferring data from fixed, mobile, B2C and B2B systems to help with short-term and long-range company planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, business, finance, IT and technical groups ensuring the prioritization of company needs. Build and maintain intelligence reporting platforms that deliver metrics, trends, and actionable data to partners. Use Tableau Software features or any LCPR custom reporting apps used by BI, such as .NET Report Apps or Crystal Reports. Continuously improve reporting and analysis processes through automation and simplification. Protect operations by keeping information confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems. Converts project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language processable by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages. Serve as information support for other company areas by running ad-hoc and other periodical reports as requested. Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program, using structured analysis and design. Demonstrates and ensures compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures. Other functions may be assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree is required in computer science, finance, economics, business administration or engineering.
6+ years business intelligence, analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position.
Fully bilingual both oral and written (Spanish/English).
Strong skills in SQL Coding are required.
Experience with complex programming languages like C#. NET / VB.NET, web tools, scripting languages, database design, application/systems integration development (API) and operating systems.
Ability to efficiently manage time and communicate clearly.
Strong analytical and modeling skills - detail oriented.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time.

Nice To Haves

Skills in JSON, XML, AWS, Tableau or other BI Visualization Tools are a plus.
