About the position

The Growth Marketing & Insights (GMI) organization has a charter of providing objective customer research, marketing analysis, and measurement to advance Adobe's business objectives. Within the GMI organization, the B2B Behavioral Analytics team is responsible for supporting revenue generation across Adobe's business-to-business solutions through account-based measurement tools & analysis. To enable this, the B2B Product Manager - Data Science performs exploratory analysis and works with machine learning engineers to build analytical models that identify high propensity audiences & drivers of demand for Adobe's B2B segments. Using these models, this individual will propose and implement standard measures and reporting that facilitate action and accountability across Adobe's Marketing & Sales organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Distill and synthesize data (qualitative and quantitative, 1st party and 3rd party) and create marketing/B2B data science models that harvest customer intelligence generated.
  • Interact with data engineers and machine learning teams to translate strategy into business requirements and functional specifications that can be worked and scaled.
  • Manage a variety of internal B2B products (from strategy through to execution) focused on delivering data and insights to Marketers and Sellers.
  • Work with large, differentiated data sets and manipulate the data using a database querying tool (SQL, Hive or Presto) and derive insights using Excel and R/Python.
  • Develop metrics and corresponding analysis to drive the business forward; conduct sophisticated statistical analyses and translate results into business recommendations.
  • Solve in-depth analytical and quantitative problems, including conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.
  • Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and present complex concepts, ideas and dense data (verbally and in writing) to all types of functions and levels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing analytics in a B2B environment.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Domain expertise in B2B marketing strategy and measurement approaches.
  • Ability to translate asks from marketing partners into technical requirements to drive cross-functional projects with engineering and technology partners.
  • Expertise in SQL, Advanced Excel, and data-driven storytelling.
  • Outstanding partner engagement, with a proven track record of driving measurement strategy and analysis with senior leadership.
