We are hiring for an Associate Vice President (AVP), a developing professional role within the Equities In-Business Risk (IBR) team. This position reports directly to the Global Head of IBR for Equity Derivatives (EqD), Futures & OTC Clearing (FDC), Cash, and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage (FIPB). The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the end-to-end product and counterparty credit risk platform and risk management framework across a diverse mix of businesses. This role requires strong analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on information analysis. You will deal with variable issues that may have broader business impact, applying professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Strong communication skills are essential for exchanging potentially complex or sensitive information with various stakeholders. The quality and timeliness of the service provided will directly contribute to the effectiveness of the IBR team and closely related teams, having a moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Function: The In-Business Risk (IBR) team sits within Equities and operates as the first line of defense, collaborating with various functions across Citi, including Sales, Trading, Structuring, Credit Risk, and Quant teams, to identify and manage risks inherent in these businesses. Product scope: Equity Derivatives encompasses vanilla and exotic OTC equity derivatives, Citi Investment Strategies (CIS), and Hybrids. Futures & OTC Clearing (FDC) covers risk associated with listed derivatives and cleared OTC products across asset classes like Rates/Inflation, Credit, Equities, FX, and Crypto. Cash refers to cash equity execution. Fixed Income Prime Brokerage (FIPB) is a clearing business within Prime Services for fixed income securities.
