This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced real estate professional to play a key role in residential asset management, providing strategic financial and operational insights while directly impacting portfolio performance. The Senior Analyst will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, Property Management, and Accounting teams, contributing to decision-making, process improvement, and long-term portfolio strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university (Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate asset management, property management, private equity, brokerage, or consulting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review detailed property- and portfolio-level financial reports, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Property Management and Accounting in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, capital plans, and variance analyses.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the Organization’s Partners and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain customized financial and operational reports to support corporate initiatives, including cost management and utility consumption tracking.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize operating performance, expense control, and capital allocation.
  • Support and lead system enhancements, process improvements, and special projects as needed.
  • Oversee purchase order entry, spending controls, and budget tracking across the portfolio.
  • Maintain regular communication with management through status reporting on key operating metrics, financial performance, and project milestones.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts as applicable.
