You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed. This position belongs to the Analytics Engineering & Data Science team. The team applies and develops our strategic data platform to provide applications and solutions that align directly with business objectives. You will compose and build all facets of data solutions, including datasets, web applications, and dashboards, while encouraging positive relationships with business collaborators. Success in this role requires outstanding communication skills and a passion for developing solutions using an evolving toolkit.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python , with experience in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure).
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their implementation in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., star and snowflake schemas).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and solution development.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Solid grasp of REST APIs and JSON.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven ability in analytics engineering, BI development, or data pipeline design.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree is beneficial but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Prior experience in financial services or working with investment data is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building data solutions.
  • A motivated self-learner who quickly masters new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Comfortable working in cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake).
  • Understands analytics development principles and applies software engineering guidelines (modularity, testing, version control) to data workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data products in both code-based environments (e.g., Streamlit, Python, etc.) and traditional BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx).
  • Model datasets for downstream applications and analytics.
  • Partner with business collaborators to define requirements and build production-ready solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams on pipeline requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing production content.
  • Perform data validation, testing, and ensure observability of solutions.
