Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Corporate Accounting Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Analyst, Accounting and Finance. The primary responsibility of this role is the overall administration, configuration and maintenance of Blackline. This role partners with cross-functional teams across Accounting & Finance and other areas to identify opportunities for improving process efficiencies, optimizing accounts, and supporting business needs/growth. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented and organized as well as have strong communication & interpersonal skills. Reporting to the Manager, General Accounting and Blackline, the person in this role will support the Corporate Accounting department's objective of timely financial close and accurate reporting of financial information. What you’ll be doing Oversee the administration, configuration and maintenance of Blackline modules (Task Management, Account Reconciliations, Transaction Matching, and Financial Reporting Analysis). Manage user roles, permissions and system security in Blackline. Provide support & training to management reports to Blackline end users. Optimize account reconciliations by leveraging reconciliation templates, data source, and matching functionality. Perform monthly SOX controls while supporting external/internal audits with controls testing. Update desk procedures, relevant policies, SOX narratives and process flows. Support the Blackline FRA (Financial Reporting Analytics) implementation to ensure new module is launched successfully. Stay up-to-date with Blackline updates and collaborate with IT for system upgrades and enhancements. What you bring A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience – combination of accounting and financial reporting/auditing (inclusive of public accounting) and related systems experience. Demonstrated experience in public accounting. Strong financial, analytical and systems skills. A broad knowledge of foreign currency, consolidation and application of US GAAP and SEC regulations. Mainframe/transactional system experience with SAP, BPC and Blackline. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams. Added bonus if you have Sarbanes Oxley experience. Blackline experience as a Business Administrator. Knowledge in system interfaces. CPA license is preferred. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business or related field.
