About The Position

As a Senior Aircraft Mechanic here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of aircraft. Your expertise will ensure that all aircraft are maintained in compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and the manufacturer's recommendations. You will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the overall airworthiness and reliability of the aircraft. In this role, you will impact the safety and efficiency of our aircraft operations by ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and technical skills will be essential in maintaining the reliability and performance of our fleet.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking systems and documentation.
  • Familiarity with various aircraft systems and components.
  • Must provide own tools
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in aviation maintenance or a related field.
  • Inspection Authorization Certificate Desired not required
  • Aircraft Platform Experience Desired General Aviation, Business Jet and Corporate Jet Experience Gulfstream G550 Embraer 170
  • Experience in leading maintenance teams and projects.
  • Follow wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, Illustrated Parts Catalog.
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passion for aviation and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components
  • Conduct thorough inspections and identify any issues or discrepancies
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems and components
  • Perform necessary repairs and replacements to ensure aircraft airworthiness
  • Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
