About The Position

Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces. They have a need for a Senior Strategy and Futures Analyst. In this role you will lead and execute future-focused Department of Defense strategic governance and planning efforts by developing and maintaining policies, initiatives, and documentation; coordinating and briefing senior leadership and stakeholders, analyzing and presenting data-driven insights, facilitating integrated project teams, and collaborating across defense, energy, infrastructure, workforce, and strategic partner organizations to ensure aligned, forward-looking programs and operations.This opportunity is 100% on-site in the Washington D.C. area. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with broad knowledge of Department of Air Force (DAF) corporate processes
  • Experience supporting DAF Headquarters strategic partnerships
  • Substantial knowledge of DAF Civil Engineer mission areas
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and lead complex, cross-functional teams
  • Proven capability to analyze and interpret strategies and guidance from senior DAF leadership
  • Active Top Secret Required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain strategy and future-focused governance and program documentation, including policies, procedures, guidance materials, action plan recommendations, responses to tasks and inquiries, and issue-resolution action plans, under senior Department of Defense program management oversight.
  • Provide detailed updates to Department of Defense leadership and key stakeholders by participating in meetings and forums, and by coordinating, developing, and delivering associated meeting materials such as presentations, after-action reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute strategic initiatives and future-concept planning efforts - including energy collaboration initiatives, community and defense partnership engagements, thought-leadership forums, mission analysis activities, capability-based assessments, and wireless power concepts - under senior Department of Defense program management oversight.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute additional strategic initiatives related to infrastructure investment, workforce and human capital development, engineering squadron initiatives, and engineering-focused subordinate strategies, as well as future-concept planning efforts such as adaptive basing, capability-based assessments, emerging technologies, and wireless power, under senior Department of Defense program management oversight.
  • Analyze and synthesize data, develop professional reports, and present findings to senior staff, engineering governance forums, integrated project teams, executive steering groups, and other relevant stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Lead and facilitate integrated project teams through training sessions and collaborative planning activities, including energy planning teams, working groups, executive steering committees, senior-level planning meetings, cost-collaboration discussions, and adaptive basing coordination calls.
  • Engage, coordinate, and collaborate with energy program offices, senior defense leadership organizations, homeland security partners, installation and mission support organizations, combat support communities, engineering leadership offices, and other strategic partners to ensure continuity of effort and alignment of operations, strategic plans, and programs.
