About The Position

As a Senior AI Engineer you will be a critical member in executing our AI development initiatives within the OneStream platform. The AI Product and Engineering team is focused on bridging the gap between AI research and AI products, bringing tangible and quantifiable value to our end users. Your primary function will involve overseeing the entire lifecycle of AI and software subsystems—from defining requirements and designing systems to project planning and implementation. This critical role is instrumental in enhancing our AI capabilities, directly impacting our products' performance and scalability across various markets. In this position, you will also play a key leadership role, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Solution Engineering, AI Delivery, and Cloud Engineering. Your expertise will not only drive innovation but also mentor and guide other engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and promoting a culture of excellence.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree or similar work experience.
CS/DS/EE/CE Degree or similar experience.
3-5 Years experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience.
3-5 Years of Python (or similar experience).
Proficiency in Database schema design.
Proficiency of distributed systems and cloud-based computing.

Nice To Haves

Experience with web services and API frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-based computing.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications and services using a variety of front-end and back-end technologies.
Design software subsystems and lead the project management and timely execution.
Use Python and SQL to build AI systems and functionality.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from the user interface to the database layer.
Lead technical design sessions to decompose and design complex systems and interfaces, ensuring they meet both technical and user requirements.
Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
Plan out product releases at a strategic and tactical implementation level for the rest of the team.
