Ashley seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join Ashley Furniture and build production-ready agentic systems that transform how we operate across our supply chain, manufacturing, and retail experiences. You'll design and ship AI agents that make autonomous decisions, optimize complex workflows, and deliver measurable business impact. This isn't about training models in isolation-you'll build complete systems that our customers and operations teams rely on daily.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks: Proficiency with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
• Production system expertise: You understand how to build reliable, scalable systems.
• Domain knowledge: Understanding of business operations and data workflows.
• LLM integration experience: Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs.
• Vision and multimodal AI expertise: Experience with vision models and multimodal systems for image recognition and generation.
• Agent integration expertise: Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations and agent-to-agent communication patterns.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work on recommendation systems or personalization engines.
• Familiarity with real-time systems and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build Agentic Systems: Design and implement AI agents that handle complex, multi-step workflows across various business domains.
• Develop AI-Powered Solutions: Build intelligent systems that understand user preferences and business constraints.
• Ship Production Features: Own the full development lifecycle from prototype to production deployment.
• Integrate with External Systems: Design and maintain integrations with various business platforms and data sources.
• Optimize for Performance and Scale: Ensure AI systems can handle enterprise-scale workloads with sub-second response times.
