As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and strengthen our digital and AI capabilities, we are seeking a Senior AI Engineer. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of Data Science and AI technical capabilities, projects and products that seek to yield a significant business benefit, build our competitive advantage and help differentiate in the market through execution on innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver scalable AI capabilities to drive the solutions which will enable functions across the insurance value chain such as underwriting, pricing, claims, distribution, operations etc.
• Deliver new features of the team's strategic products by collaborating with data scientists, front-end developers, product managers, and other team members.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery by conducting code reviews, debugging and improving application performance in agile manner, focusing on low latency, high availability, and system efficiency.
• Grow and mentor a team of data scientists and machine learning developers in the end-to-end development of AI solutions, from conceptualization and prototyping to deployment and continuous optimization.
• Partner with key areas within AI Platforms, Pricing & Underwriting, Transformation & Change Delivery, Group and other teams to make scalable solutions available for projects.
