About The Position

Architect and Lead Design: Design, architect, and lead the development of sophisticated virtual assistants and chatbots, leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI platforms and microservices architectures. Advanced NLP & NLU Strategy: Define and implement strategies for advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models, focusing on complex intent recognition, advanced entity extraction, contextual reasoning, and human-like conversational flows. GenAI Tooling & Innovation: Leverage and integrate state-of-the-art NLP and GenAI tools for intent development, prompt engineering, and creating highly intelligent and adaptive bot interactions. Drive innovation by exploring new GenAI techniques and models. Agentic AI Systems: Architect and build advanced agentic AI systems capable of proactive problem-solving, autonomous decision-making, and sophisticated user engagement. Seamless Integration & Orchestration: Design and oversee the seamless integration of AI solutions with complex enterprise backend systems via robust APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security across live chat platforms and other communication channels. Data Architecture & Security: Architect and implement secure, scalable, and compliant data storage and retrieval mechanisms for conversational data, leveraging advanced database solutions including but not limited to MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL solutions, and distributed data stores. Ensure adherence to data governance policies. Resilience & Reliability: Develop comprehensive error handling, fault tolerance, and fallback systems, including intelligent routing and seamless handoff to human agents, to ensure an exceptionally smooth and reliable user experience. Data Privacy & Compliance Leadership: Establish and enforce best practices for user data privacy and security, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring strict compliance with relevant global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Feature Roadmap & Implementation: Lead the development and integration of advanced bot features such as sophisticated FAQ automation, engaging small talk capabilities, rich content rendering, complex account troubleshooting workflows, and intelligent live agent handover. GenAI Thought Leadership: Stay at the absolute forefront of AI and Generative AI advancements. Evaluate, integrate, and drive the adoption of emerging GenAI platforms (e.g., Gemini, GPT models) and research breakthroughs to maintain a competitive edge. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum 6+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or Architect, with significant leadership experience in designing and building large-scale, AI-powered applications.
Extensive hands-on experience in architecting and developing virtual assistants, chatbots, and conversational AI platforms using leading AI platforms (e.g., Kore.AI, Rasa, Dialogflow) and microservices architectures.
Deep proficiency in Python (preferred) or JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Expert-level understanding and practical experience in advanced NLP/NLU concepts, machine learning, and Generative AI techniques.
Demonstrated experience with complex API integrations, enterprise system connectivity, and message queueing technologies.
Strong expertise in database management (SQL, NoSQL), data modeling, and robust data security best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including serverless architectures and managed AI/ML services.
Experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines for AI models, and agile development methodologies at an enterprise scale.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration technologies.
